* 44k.1Hz / 24-bit

* Valve sine wave generator

* Semi-additive synthesiser

* Sub basses

* Leadlines

* Delay and convolution reverb

As a special Hogmanay treat, we are offering this simple synth...

It uses samples from a valve sinewave generator to create a variety of sounds from organs, sub-basses, leadlines and pads and more and the DETUNER control makes the sound thicker from mild detune to out-and-out discordant ring modulator sounds. There's also an ADSR envelope to shape the sound.

The CRUNCH buttons introduce all sorts of distortions and tonal modifications which can be used individually or in combination to add overtones and harmonics while the PLAYBACK controls allow you to play polyphonically or monophically and in the mono modes, glide can be added. And there's a vibrato oscillator with variable RATE. The VIA switches give plenty of options.

There's also an echo effect and a convolution reverb with spring, plate and acoustic hall impulses to round things off.

I'll be honest and admit that this is not the most versatile synth ever made but for pure and simple lead lines, solid basses, organ sounds and mellow pads, its simplicity (and silly price) takes some beating and it's a pokey little synth in its own unique way!

And for those who are wondering, a guinea is an old British currency of £1 and a shilling ... 21 bob ... or £1.05 in modern parlance. It was originally used in legal circles where the lawyer/barrister/solicitor got the £1 and his assistant/secretary/underling got the shilling (some things never change!). I use it here as a nod to those who have teased me about charging in UK currency, suggesting (in jest) that I charge in groats or whatever. It's a playful ruse. Basically, it's £1.05 or around $1.6 or €1.2 ...

And a bargain at twice the price! Less than the price of a cup of coffeeand considerably more fun!

This offer will end at the end of January so snap it up. In the meantime, a healthy and hopefully wealthy 2013 to you. All of us here at HS Towers wish you well in your musical endeavours and are glad to maybe be a part of that.

Happy new year!

Happy New Year!!!

Have availed myself of the Hogmanay Special and you gone f'cking done it again!!!

The little SineSynth may be simple, but it is simply great, end of - I love it. I have already coaxed a couple of seriously lovely theremin types sounds out of it and not a 3rd party processor in sight some 5 minutes after starting it up!!! Once more, you've given the world at large a powerful little something that sits so perfectly with your other little crazy gizmos and bonkers contraptions.

And at the insane price of 1guinea!!! I reckon there must be something you're inhaling from those 400 year old walls to explain this level of paralleling greatness and insanity.

Well done you clever f'cker.

I love these specials. What you do is special because you make Kontakt instruments and samples for people like me who can't spend a lot of money on sounds. Buying Kontakt was a big thing for me and being able to buy affordable library like this really opens up the possibilities for me so thankyou and happy new year.
