The unique twist in its tail, however, is that all the orchestral
textures have been created using analogue synths thereby providing
the lush sonic tapestries woven by the likes of Isao Tomita, Larry
Fast, Patrick Gleeson and other early electronic music pioneers.
Contained in the SSS collection are strings, brass,
woodwinds, orchestral percussion and tuned percussion plus some
'oriental' instruments. It also contains a variety of pads and
tempo-synced LFO sweeps and atmospheric sounds that fill in 'the
grey areas' of the traditional orchestra's otherwise rigid pallette.
All sounds are meticulously multi-sampled for maximum
detail and many of the programs use velocity switching for maximum
expression. Pre-assembled multis also ship with the collection
allowing you to get started with the minimum of effort.
