Using a simple interface, it is
possible to set the MPD16 remotely on a PC or Mac and transfer
those settings to the MPD16 over USB.

The first of these allows you to program the note
assignments and also name the 32 pads (2 banks of 16 - Banks A/B).
Settings can be saved and loaded and it is also possible
to reset the pad to the factory defaults. Amongst the presets
available are a GM set allowing you to play and program a huge
range of commercially available GM drum and percussion sound sets.
It is also possible to assign MIDI controllers to the slider.
By clicking on PAD SENSITIVITY, you can set how the
pads respond to velocity so that the controller can be configured
to suit your personal playing style:
