Roland's contribution to the music business can hardly be measured having produced some of the best and most popular keyboards and synthesisers over the last 30 years from the Jupiter 8, Juno series, the TR808 and 909 drum machines, the ground breaking D50 and, more recently, industry-standard synth modules such as the JV series of synth modules and many, many more. Nostalgia contains tiny a selection of sounds from that history. Many are typical huge Roland 'film-score' pads, lush strings and glassy pads as well as choirs and more.

Most of the sounds in this selection are in stereo and have been sampled with the sounds' effects (*) as these are such an integral part of many Roland sounds. This increases the filesize but it is felt that this is worthwhile if you are to enjoy the full splendour of these sounds.
