Extensive multi-samples from the Synthesizers.com analogue modular that takes pride of place here at HS Towers. Some are complete sounds with all the quirks and non-linearities of the system's filters while others are raw waveforms and you can use the scripted front panel to create your own sounds.

Vermona made organs back in the 60s and early 70s along with amps and spring reverbs. They made quite a range of transistor organs that included quite complex dual keyboard models to single manual portables like the ET3 here.

With various drawbars to combine different registers, the ET3 is capable of a wide range of organ sound from brittle tranny to steaming, distorted rock and eerie tones. But we've gone a step further and have added synth facilities to expand its sonic palette.

The RMI Electrapiano was the electric piano of choice with a lot of prog keyboard players in the 70s... players such as Rick Wakeman, Tony Banks, Dave Greenslade, Jon Lord and others. Not exclusively, however - Sparks, Todd Rundgren, John Lennon, Chick Corea and many others also used this curious electronic piano/harpsichord hybrid.

Hollow Sun's RMI Electrapiano offers almost without doubt the finest recreation of this instrument with a faithfully replicated front panel.

In another collaboration with UK synthmeister, Ian Boddy, here we have 'Drumalogue', a collection of 1,000 44/24 drum, percussion and SFX samples taken from a variety of pure analogue modular synths such as a Roland 100M, Analogue Systems, Analogue Solutions and Doepfer modulars, a VCS3 and a MiniMoog all processed through a tube filter.

This is pokey stuff - raw analogue synths grunting and squealing, sweeping and swooping, blipping and blooping. Sometimes glitchy, sometimes Radiophonic, often nasty, always unique.

No static snapshot samples of Simmons or drum machines but total control over the sounds you want to create with the extensive control panel of this 5-channel drum synthesiser that brings together all the basic building blocks required to carve, craft and sculpt a powerful range of vintage and contemporary electronic drums, percussion, sweeps and effects.

Sounds of the ether- bizarre interference patterns, distant and squealing heterodynes, garbled 'found' voices floating around the radio waves, hidden morse code signals, ethereal rhythmic pulses from the outer reaches and distorted transmissions from all over the world.

Hollow Sun's unique Novachord has to be heard to be believed. 163 tubes, over 1,000 capacitors, miles of wiring in hand sewn looms in a stunningly beautiful cherrywood cabinet weighing 1/4 ton, this incredible instrument from 1939, the world's first analogue polysynth and much loved by film scorers in the 40s and 50s, has been lovingly restored by Dan Wilson of Hideaway Studios near Bath, England, and is possibly the only working Novachord in the UK and one of only a few in the world.
